In Fiscal Year 2002,
all of CareGroup's Community Hospitals will be using clinical and financial
applications developed by the Medical Information Technology Company,
i.e., Meditech.
Currently, Mount Auburn
and Deaconess-Waltham Hospitals are fully integrated Meditech "shops",
with the Waltham site going live on November 1, 2000 (see Waltham
Update). Deaconess-Nashoba will be going live on December 1. Deaconess-Glover
is now using the Laboratory and Pharmacy applications with the remaining
modules to be implemented in parallel with New England Baptist during
Fiscal Year 2002.
The Meditech section

to the right.

Outlook E-mail account, you can now access Meditech from any Internet
ready PC. To do this, click below to download the Metaframe software client
onto your PC. METAFRAME

After you've downloaded
and installed the Metaframe software client on your PC, click below to
use the Meditech emulator software. You will be prompted for your ITS

Mount Auburn Help Desk
personnel provide 24 hour support of the Meditech applications at 617-499-5600.
Individuals on the Mount Auburn campus can reach the Help Desk simply
by dialing extension 5600, while those on the Deaconess-Waltham campus
only need to dial extension 5500. People on the Deaconess-Nashoba,
Deaconess-Glover and BIDMC campuses can reach the Mount Auburn
Help Desk directly by dialing 7-5600.
