Deaconess-Waltham Update

The following memo was recently issued by Peter Olsen, Director of Information Systems at Deaconess-Waltham Hospital:

It's Meditech Time! We Did It!

As of Wednesday, November 1, 2000, we are LIVE on Meditech. Thanks to countless hours by hundreds of people both here at DWH and at CareGroup we have successfully converted to our new system.

The remaining issues are normal for a project of this size and scope. The Project Team will continue to fine-tune the system in the coming weeks to get it 'just right'.

This exciting time for our hospital was characterized by tremendous team work, excellent problem solving skills and a lot of good cheer by all.
