Daniel Catenacci worked with Dr. Michael S. Conte at the Harvard Institute for Human Genetics (HIHG) within the laboratory of Dr. Richard C. Mulligan. The HIHG is located in the newly constructed Harvard Institutes of Medicine, a state-of-the-art laboratory building located in the Longwood Medical Area. Focused on the development of genetic therapies, the Mulligan lab is a fully equipped, modern molecular biology facility. Daniel's final project was entitled, "Factors Affecting rAAV Mediated Gene Delivery to Vascular Cells."

Matthew Doane's final project, "Elucidating the Role of Apolipoprotein-J in Intimal Hyperplasia," came as a result of his work with Program Director, Dr. Frank W. LoGerfo and Dr. William C. Quist. The Vascular Surgery Research Laboratory, also located in the Harvard Institutes of Medicine (HIM), is divided into four modules dedicated to molecular biology, tissue culture, biochemistry and histology.

Dr. Christiane Ferran served as the advisor for Monet France who says she is "grateful for the chance to observe this great woman in science and medicine." Dr. Ferran's lab, located at Research North has a viral lab, a photography lab, tissue culture, and a diswash/autoclave cold room located on the same floor. Monet's study was entitled, "Expression and Function of Cytoprotective Anti-apoptotic Gene A20 in Hepatocytes and Liver Disease."

Matthew Heinz's research focused on "Re-endothelialization of Denuded Arterial Segments Using Bone Marrow-derived Stem Cells Transduced by Lentivirus Vectors" and resulted from his work with Dr. Richard Mulligan, who works in the Laboratory of Molecular Medicine in the Enders Research Labs at the Children's Hospital and the Harvard Institutes of Medicine.
