Domain Name Service Request: CareGroup and HANDS-affiliated Institutions

The CareGroup Network Architecture and Support group maintains the domain name registry for all computing equipment located on the corporate network. Please use the following form to request that your host be added or modified to the DNS for the main CareGroup domain (caregroup.org), the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center domain (bidmc.harvard.edu), or one of the other domains sponsored by various departments or projects.

If you are requesting a change in a DNS registration due to a move, please explain in the text field provided below.

We are able to link several host domain names to the same IP number, but can link the reverse ARPA entry of the IP number to only one host domain name. If you are requesting multiple names to resolve to the same IP number, please indicate which name should be used for the reverse IP number resolution.
