Interlibrary Loan

Books, journal articles, or audiovisuals which are not held in the NEBH collection can be requested from other libraries or sources. This is a free service provided to NEBH employees and medical staff. Interlibrary loan generally takes 1-2 business days but varies depending on the availability of the title locally. Please speak with library staff if your request is urgent.

To request an interlibrary loan please provide the following information:

  • Name, department, contact phone number, and e-mail
  • Printed, photocopied, or hand-written citation lists

Document Delivery

The Woodard Library provides desktop delivery of articles and book chapters from the New England Baptist Hospital's collection via scanned PDF files.

Reference Assistance

The library staff provides comprehensive literature searches, assistance in using print and electronic resources, guidance in selecting databases, and advice on search methods.

Current Awareness Service (CAS)

The Library offers a service to keep staff aware of the latest in medical innovations and techniques with alerts about newly published articles on selected topics. Contact library staff to learn more about setting up alerts or RSS feeds.
